INTERNATIONAL BOER GOAT ASSOCIATION, INC. POINT SYSTEM

INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION POINTS

All International Boer Goat Association, Inc. registered animals are eligible to receive individual competition points and any resultant titles. Animals that are not International Boer Goat Association, Inc. registered have the option of registering with International Boer Goat Association, Inc. within 5 business days of the show and receiving their points for that show. Points for individual competition and resultant offspring points will forfeited if these criteria are not met.

Individual Competition points shall be awarded according to the following schedules in all International Boer Goat Association, Inc. sanctioned Open, Non-traditional, and Junior Shows.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EARNING INDIVIDUAL PERMANENT TITLES

Any Fullblood/Purebred animal receiving 160 points with at least 40 points coming from 3 or more offspring with a minimum of 5 points each will be recognized as an ennobled animal.

A buck or doe will not receive ennoblement if more than 50% of their total points have been received from competition under any one judge.

A buck or doe can only receive 25% of their ennoblement points from junior shows.


REQUIREMENTS FOR EARNING SIRE AND DAM PERMANENT TITLES

Any Percentage Doe receiving 120 points with at least 20 points coming from 2 or more offspring with a minimum of 5 points each will be recognized as an ennobled animal.

A percentage doe will not receive ennoblement if more than 50% of their total points have been received from competition under any one judge.

A percentage doe can only receive 25% of their ennoblement points from junior shows.

ADDENDUM
Animals that have earned 150 points; earned, offspring, or combined by February 4, 2010 shall be considered grandfathered in our ennoblement program as an ennobled animal.
